Button Soup Tarot is the first collaborative deck from members of the Cult of Tarot Forum.
39 artists from all over the world contributed their original work to this one-of-a-kind deck. Some of them are well known artists and deck creators. All of them are avid lovers and practitioners of the Tarot arts.
We called it Button Soup after the folktale about a community that comes together and contributes ingredients for a beautiful soup that feeds the whole village.
The story is known by other names in other places, (Stone Soup, Nail Soup, Axe Soup, Wood Soup, etc.) but the idea is always the same: the soup starts off simply with a single inedible ingredient, but through the curiosity generosity and enthusiasm that grows around it, something wonderful is created for all.
The 78-card deck is printed on highest quality art paper with a smooth matte finish. The edges are gold foil and the card faces have gold foil details which combined with the matte finish compliment and unify every card in the deck. The deck comes in a beautiful and sturdy 2-piece box and includes a 100-page guidebook written by the artists.
